acan and my grandmother
Isabel Gonzalez y Gonzalez
daughter of a Spanish general
Who died leaving her
and her little sister
Cristina in the convent of
the Biscayne nuns, which she
left to marry my
grandfather - a photographer
by profession, who still made
daguerreotypes, one of
which I have kept to this day.
