Oscar De la Hoya Placido Domingo [Newscaster] These are people who have helped make our state the fifth largest economy in the world. [Newsperson] Excuse me, are you Mexican? [Unemployed Actor] Do I look like Mexican? Everyday they ask me the same thing. I am Israeli, I'm not Mexican. [Unemployed Actor] I wear little hat, not big one. Have I disappeared? [Abdul Hassan, California University School of Policy] This is a disaster. This is a real serious disaster. Remember when we used to talk about the Big One coming? This is it. 90% of the crops in the state were picked by Mexican undocumented workers crossing the border, working the fields 12 hours a day. God, forget about parking your car at valets. Forget about getting a glass of water at the restaurant. Forget about restaurants.
