5/27/08: Nader Tours Northeast Ralph Nader is on the road again.
Starting this Friday, Ralph will be on the road to Baltimore, Wilmington, Philadelphia, Princeton, New York City, and New England. Check schedule here. If you are in the neighborhood, please come out to hear Ralph speak and support Nader/Gonzalez. In this election year, it's going to be a four-way race for President - Ralph Nader, Bob Barr, John McCain, and Barack Obama. To seriously challenge the two major corporate parties, we need to get Ralph Nader and his running mate Matt Gonzalez on the televised national debates. But to get them on the debates, we first need to get Nader/Gonzalez on as many ballots as possible. Right now, we're working to put Nader/Gonzalez on the ballot in Pennsylvania. In Pennsylvania, we need to collect 50,000 signatures by August 1. The Pennsylvania petition drive will cost us $50,000. So far, 168 of you have donated $15,056 to put Nader/Gonzalez on the ballot in Pennsylvania. Now, we need another 350 of you - our loyal supporters - to donate $100 each to put Nader/Gonzalez on the ballot in the Commonwealth. (Love that word - commonwealth.) So, please. Help fuel our drive to challenge the two corporate parties in this election year. You can donate up to $4,600. But please, give whatever you can afford. Every dollar counts.
