THE SHAPE OF THINGS -- ILLUSTRATED SCREENPLAY & SCREENCAP GALLERY |
|
Each of its feathers and the internal structure of its bones is based on fundamental patterns, just like its egg. These eggs are strong enough to take the weight of the mother duck. They are also made with an efficient use of material and minimize surface area reducing heat loss. While this mallard's young are in their eggs, patterns are developing that not only sustain life, but also anticipate the emerging adult form. |
